Almost everyone has access to a public library (at least in the US).
Most libraries will carry popular hopepunk/solarpunk books like the

Robot series,

Ministry for the Future. But despite
appearances, librarians do not actually have superpowers: they need their
patrons to tell them what books they want to read."
