"I expect that there will be an exodus of young and talented people from the
United States. Why should they remain in a place where they are unappreciated,
ignored and denied any chance at prosperity? It takes a long time to change a
culture, but the good news is that you have options.
I believe that healthcare is a human right. I believe that education is a human
right. There are other places in the world that believe this, too. Why not move
there?
This is the message I’ve been telling my daughters. The older you get, the more
you put down your roots in a place. But when you are young you are strong and
free. There’s nothing to hold you anywhere. You’re a leaf on the wind. All you
need is the courage to break free and fly away."
