"Every now and then I’m sure all of us who are into reading all feel the need
to go back to one of our favorite authors and do a deep dive into all the books
from them we love. One of the most beloved authors ever is Terry Pratchett, the
great novelist and satirist from Britain. He wrote many books over a number of
decades that are still very popular to this day with his
Discworld series
having sold over 90 million copies worldwide.
His books have inspired many people to take up writing themselves and have
stuck with people for all this time. I myself first got into reading the
Discworld books back in 2021 and I’ve loved each one I’ve read since then.
For this article though I wanted to go into some of the absolute brilliance
that we find in Terry Pratchett’s writing and the themes that exist in them.
As stated he is one of the most popular authors of the modern age and his books
still resonate with millions of people today. I think then that it is important
to examine just some of the reasons why his books are so interesting to people
of different backgrounds."
