"Kim, who now also runs a shoe consulting business, took these
initiatives a step further: he designed a shoe that doesn’t use any glue
at all. A strap, made from a recyclable, rubbery material, snaps into
the tread of the outsole through a puzzle-like design, and holds the
shoe in place with laces."
