Hello!
I have a new show opening at Melbourne Fringe--
WizAz: Magic Rocks!
It's a show that started its life as a television pitch for a producer's
conference with Sammy J attached (truly, I have the photos to prove it).
It has now turned into a comedy musical for the stage.
The Premise: what would Harry Potter be like if it were set in
Australia? WizAz is about a couple of young wizards, Liam and Xander,
who have graduated from Wombat Flats Magical Academy. They form indie
band WizAz, and are touring pubs in hopes of breaking into the music
industry. Tonight might just be their night! A producer is rumoured to
be turning up at Club Voltaire. Expect music, magic, a few dance steps,
and...Godzilla!
I would love to have you join us and cheer the production on! We
received 5 star reviews for our last production and this looks like it
will also be a corker! We have a number of award-winning performers on
board.
