"Oh why not. Here's a topic I have no direct interest in, but have ended up
peripherally involved with on a global basis for about six or so years now, and
some of the things I learned (much of it from law enforcement) startled me, so
as a geek who started in cultural anthro, I had to find out more and think
about it even more than that. In fact, I can say I have lost significant sleep
over this topic, particularly during my tenure working for Tor. Let me pass
some of that on — not the insomnia, but the pondering."
