If you haven't yet played the classic video game "Portal", it's
available as a free download until tomorrow (Tuesday 20 September 2011):

You will need to sign up for an account on Valve Software's "Steam"
service if you don't already have one, which is also free. It runs on
Windows and MacOS, and I have also successfully run the Steam installer,
then installed and played Portal all the way through using Wine 1.2 on
Ubuntu Linux:

Portal is a 5GB download, but some ISPs (such as Internode, which I use)
may not count it in your monthly download allowance.
Share and enjoy,
