This strikes me as both wonderfully accepting of nature and a little bit
bonkers. This appears to be a webpage about a school group keeping a redback
in a fishbowl as a sort of impromptu class project.

It's fine as long as the teacher keeps a close eye on the bowl and makes
sure it isn't sitting around with unattended kids in the room. I guess.
I wonder if any of the parents heard about the project and whether they were
also 'blasé'? In some suburbs you do get redbacks creeping around all over
the place and people do get used to them. There hasn't been a fatality in
decades (I think offhand), so maybe with modern anti-venoms it's more or
less fine.
Anyway, regardless, it's nice to see a teacher letting children know that
they don't have to simply freak out on sight of a spider.
