THE FRONT FELL OFF
On August 19th, 2007, an oil tanker off the coast of Australia split in
two, dumping 20,000 tons of crude oil. Senator Collins, a member of the
Australian Parliament, appeared on a TV news program to reassure the
Australian public. This actual interview is so funny, you'd swear it was
a Saturday Night Live or Monty Python skit.
Actually, that's John Clarke playing Senator Collins. John Clarke is a well
loved satirist in both Australia and New Zealand. He is being interviewed by
comedian/musician Bryan Dawe.

He is up on YouTube multiple times as being an actual Australian
minister/expert/etc saying something ridiculous. People seem to want to
believe this is real.

Oops! Sorry Bill, I thought you had sent this to the gwlist.

What is most entertaining and frightening is how close this is to reality!!!
With Clarke and Dawe it is humor...with those that we elect in our
countries...it is reality! Thanks Katherine...I love listening to THE FRONT
FELL OFF over and over!
